The ownership of the farm can tell you more about the farm in a couple of ways. We'll be building this out soon, but here are two things to keep in mind:

1) The average age of a farmer is close to the mid 50's and there's a growing consolidation of farms as they age out and rely on selling their farm as their retirement. Supporting new farms is essential to keeping our farms independent and a dynamic community.

2) The longer the farm has been around, the greater the chance the soil has been cultivated to be better for growing food and safety measures are put in place.
