Sky Valley uses no antibiotics or chemicals in our fields or on our animals. In summer, hens live in portable hoop houses that are moved weekly so they always have fresh grass and bugs to eat. We use lightweight fencing and our trusty farm dogs to protect against coyotes and other predators.

In 1989, Brent and Cindy quit teaching high school and moved back to Skykomish Valley to continue the farming tradition. Five years ago, Brent quit his job in the healthcare industry to farm full-time. Cindy also works full-time on the farm managing the books, keeping orders running smoothly, and making sure everyone gets good food!

After both graduating from Western Washington University, David, the oldest son, and his wife, Kaitlyn, joined the team as full-time farmers and started the 4th generation of farming the land. As fate would have it, their neighbor was an elderly lady that passed away and their David and Kaitlyn were able to purchase their land. David is looking to do some turkeys and were hoping to sell some for Thanksgiving 2020!
