Certified organic since 1998, sustainable agriculture is one thing that the Alvarez Family has embedded into their farming tradition. They regularly plant, tend to crops, and harvest mainly by hand. By planting over 300 crop varieties, they make for a rich biodome, increasing nutrients in their plants and soil.

Alvarez Organic Farms has been in the agriculture business for well over 30 years. Growing food organically means going back to the basic, old-fashioned farming techniques that support health for the environment and the people who consume it.

Organic Farms put in the extra effort of regularly tending to crops, harvesting and planting mainly by hand. This usually account for the slight price difference in organics, this cost however, is upfront. At Alvarez Organic Farms, our customer's health is the main reason we farm organically!
