Amazingly sweet, juicy and vanilla-like flavor. Concorde pears are a newer variety that originated in England as a cross between the Conference and Comic pear varieties. It’s a specialty pear that might be hard to find in stores, but worth the search! Concorde is slow to brown when compared to other pears, and its green skin will soften once it’s ripe and ready to eat.
