Description
Roundbale is Ferndale Farmstead’s first original cheese. Aged for over a year, this hard, grating-style cheese delivers a nutty flavor with subtle sweetness, much like a Parmigiano, but with a piquant kick and a surprising tropical fruit finish. The milk used to create Roundbale comes from cows raised on the farm and fed from the crops grown right there, embodying a truly sustainable, closed-loop system. Made in the heart of the Pacific Northwest, it’s a cheese that reflects the region’s unique terroir.
Storage
Keep refrigerated. For best shelf life, wrap in wax or parchment paper (like beeswax paper) and then put in a plastic bag or wrap.
