Quail eggs have a mild, slightly gamey taste, similar to a chicken egg, but with an extra-rich, creamy yolk and higher yolk to white ratio. They are considered a delicacy in many parts of the world, including Asia, Europe, and North America. In Japanese cuisine, they are sometimes used raw or cooked as tamago in sushi and often found in bento lunches.
Our quail are raised with no antibiotics or hormones and are fed feed from a local feed mill. They are housed in a barn with plenty of natural sunlight and fresh air.
